Downtown Chicago's Happiest Oyster & Beer Hour

Why Limit Happy to an Hour?

Our favorite way to end the work day involves oysters and a proper drink.

We're excited to bring this one on as our perfect stout oyster pairing.  It is neither too bitter, nor too sweet, making it the perfect starter stout for those who haven't tried it, and balanced enough for the lover of stouts.

We will be featuring a rotational handle from Hopewell starting with their Outside Voice.  A touch of tropical fruit on the nose, and light floral hops throughout, it will be a lovely pairing for any of our mussel dishes as it doesn't overpower other flavors.

Anchor distilling Junipero gin, Anchor distilling Old Tom gin, lemon, honey, Burnt City Balloon Boy wheat beer, dehydrated lemon wheel

Featuring what was once an offshoot of Bill Kimpton's favorite beer brand Anchor, we wanted this cocktail to really represent what we are all about.  Based on the Beer's Knees, which is based on the Bee's Knees cocktail (super meta right?), we pulled from our own Kimpton brand and representing what we have in Chicago (i.e. Burnt City).  This lightly sweet, super wheat cocktail is an easy sipper that can stand alone or up to any meal.  Small botanical juniper and cardamom notes, lightly citric.  It is named the Cat's Pajamas as a play on "Bee's Knees" meaning "very cool or fun".

...But mostly because of the cat featured on our menu.
